Letter to Welwyn Hatfield Times
24/02/2019
Dear Sir or madam,
With yet again no trains from WGC or Hatfield on Sunday, I went to St Albans for a train. That made me reflect that compared with WGC, exactly the distance from London as St Albans, with same rail company, St Albans has more trains (8 per hour most days compared with our 2 semi-fast and 2 very slow), faster trains (21 minutes fastest, 35 minutes slowest, compared with WGC’s 28 minutes), have 50% more seats, and are often cheaper to the same destinations.
Given they are all now branded as Thameslink, isn’t it time Govia gave us a fair deal and stopped treating us as second-class citizens on this line?
Yours Faithfully
